Keto Meal Template Builder
Build a repeatable rotation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas without invented precision. Choose your food pattern, ingredient exclusions, time, equipment, budget approach, and whether dinner should be followed by a compatible lunch idea the next day.
Before you cook
Limits and food-safety checks
Ingredient exclusions
The catalog records the U.S. Big 9 food allergens and gluten at template level. That cannot account for every product, substitution, kitchen, or manufacturing line. The FDA advises reading labels and avoiding the foods involved in an allergy; advisory cross-contact statements can also vary. Do not call a generated template allergy-safe.
Paired lunch ideas
A paired lunch is a separate catalog idea, not a promise that the preceding dinner itself can be reused. If you intentionally cook and store extra food, the USDA leftover-safety guidance says to refrigerate perishables within two hours (one hour above 90°F), use refrigerated leftovers within three to four days, and reheat leftovers to 165°F.
Individual care
A fixed catalog cannot prescribe for diabetes medication, pregnancy, kidney or liver disease, epilepsy therapy, food allergy, celiac disease, or an eating-disorder history. Review whether keto is appropriate for you with a qualified clinician when those contexts apply.
How it works
Deterministic, fail-closed selection
The builder filters a fixed catalog against every setting, checks that all three meal slots can be filled, then rotates matching templates with stable tie-breaking. The same catalog and filters return the same result. When the requested rotation cannot be filled, it returns no partial result and does not quietly remove an exclusion. Read the broader meal-planning guide for portions, nutrition checks, and individual adjustments.
Common questions
Keto meal template FAQ
Does this builder calculate calories, macros, or portions?
No. It builds a rotation of meal ideas from a fixed catalog and groups the ingredients into a shopping list. It does not calculate calories, macros, serving sizes, or whether the result will produce ketosis.
Does an allergen exclusion make the plan allergy-safe?
No. An exclusion removes templates with that listed ingredient from this catalog only. Ingredients, manufacturing, substitutions, and cross-contact vary, so check every package label and use appropriate professional guidance for a food allergy or celiac disease.
How does the dietary-pattern filter work?
Vegan returns vegan templates. Vegetarian can also include vegan templates. Pescatarian can include pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan templates. Omnivore can include every catalog pattern.
Does the builder weaken filters when nothing matches?
No. It returns no rotation and keeps every dietary and ingredient exclusion intact. It may show a separate button for a less restrictive time, equipment, ingredient, or pairing setting only when that one change fills every requested meal-idea slot.
What is saved or uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded or saved automatically. Settings and imported files are processed in the browser. Export creates a small JSON file containing the filters, not the generated meals; importing valid settings recomputes the plan from the current catalog.
